i hope we have a program that teaches parents all over the Philippines on proper way of parenting. in such doing, children will have more chance of having a quality education, not only the formal education, but also the informal which the most important. if parents knows the right parenting, children will develop high self-esteem, self-respect, good morals and self-responsibility: these children will then set realistic goals until they reach setting and achieving high and challenging goals. all of these will eventually result to making our next generation truly educated. we are missing a perspective of real education. education in school is important but education from experiences and people will contribute mostly to success of any kind of person. IQ is determinant of 10% of our success but EQ is determinant of 90% of our success, personal fulfillment and social responsibility. all children have right to have education--they were born to be educated. education cam from a Latin word educo which means to draw from within. we can have many achievers from the next generations, most of them will have a greater chance if they have education; school is an institution which offers some kind of education. one of biggest obstacle in success of a man is his background. some children are unfortunate or let's say not privileged to have PROPER education, although it is their right. school is a good step in educating one's self.as of today, there many kinds of schools, some offers only one course. in this fast growing economy, people with lack or no schooling will have little chance in uplifting their lives. many a Filipino just ended up failure and we can say that most of them have lack education or have not entered school.
ReplyDeletebefore we can send them to school, we need to satisfy their basic needs somehow. then, educate the parents on proper parenting then send their children to school; and also teach their children at home. those who learn at home are mostly the intelligent and confident ones and are good in socializing. as we can see, each factors are affecting each other and that's why it is hard to educate everybody. but advocating education will really contribute in helping the next generation. those who have money and power, being aware of this, will contribute a lot. but it is the duty of everyone, parents, friends, people who do not know each other and not related, to help in bringing each other up. we can all make a difference! the only question is how big is the difference you're going to make.
